Tohmi city | Tokita
|
Tohmi City is located to the east of Ueda City with a population of about 29,000. The former Tobu Town and Kitamimaki Village merged in 2004 to form Tohmi City. The fact that there are still many facilities with the name "Tobu" in this area is a remnant of that time. It is located about 20 km west of Karuizawa Town.
Tohmi is known for its many wineries, and a Google search for "Tohmi wineries" will reveal about ten of them. Together with its neighbor to the east, Komoro City, this area is a major producer of Shinshu wine. This property is a detached residential house built in 2019, located in the Tokita district where the vast Tohmi Central Park spreads out, just off the Tobu Yunomaru Interchange of the Joshinetsu Expressway. With schools, convenience stores, and supermarkets all within a few minutes' drive, this district must be a great place to start your life in the area. As you can see from the photos on this site, the building is a custom-built house with a focus on design and living lines. If you are a family with children and want to live in this area, this should be the perfect place for you.
