Naka Karuizawa | Shiozawa
|
Shiozawa is a residential area that stretches to the south of the Route 18 bypass. It is generally known as the area of Lake Shiozawa, Taliesin and its surrounding museums and art galleries. 2018 saw the opening of Tokyu Harvest Club VIALA, making it a district with an ever-growing resort atmosphere.
The property is a newly built house for sale under construction (scheduled for completion in February 2023) on the south side of the National Route 18 bypass, in an area adjacent to the Shirakabadai and Nanpeidai villa districts. It is a large residence with a total floor area of approximately 155 sqm, featuring a large single-flow roof design and a vaulted earthen floor salon. The house is designed and being built using the “air-pass” construction method, which allows the building to breathe by allowing “air” to “pass” between the exterior and interior walls. This structure allows moisture to escape and keeps the house warm in winter and cool in summer. There is a breathing window in the attic, which can be manually opened and closed. Please check it out for yourself when you are ready to view the house. In Karuizawa, which is known for its high humidity, moisture control is important to ensure the longevity of the house. While many house owners use a number of dehumidifiers in operation to prevent moisture, a house with the air-path construction method is a smart way to achieve this purpose. We are open for tours. Looking forward to hearing from interested buyer customers. See also our other property listings.
