Karuizawa Oiwake | Amaike

Crossing the prefectural road bridge at southwest of Shinano Railway’s Shinano Oiwake station from the north to the south side of the railway track, you will see a rural farm field landscape which should look different from other villa zones in Karuizawa town. Keeping driving south along the prefectural road will lead you to the border with Miyota Town. Driving further, you can go to Miyota station (next stop to Shinano Oiwake station on Shinano Railway train service) and Sakudaira (next stop to Karuizawa station on JR Hokuriku Shinkansen).
This area, with its farm fields and forests, is called Koshimaki by locals. Many farmers live in this area, but for recent years, new and pretty second houses and residences have been built and the atmosphere of the area has begun to change. You can see a modern cafe (Cafe Dilettant) near the border with Miyota, something which is an entertainment destination for locals and visitors. This area is expected to gain attention as a residential area as well as a villa area, thanks to close distance to Shinano Oiwake station (1,500m) and convenient access to this major prefectural road. This property consists of a land parcel of roughly 363 square meters facing a major prefectural road and a 51square meter building built on top of it. Although the building is older, a major renovation was completed in November 2022, including the installation of thermal insulation materials on ceiling, walls, and floor, and the addition of steel beam. The main furniture and appliances have already been brought in, so the property is ready for immediate use. This property meets the needs of customers who are looking for a compact vacation home or second home without the need for many rooms. Please take a look at the site. ![]() See also our other property listings.
