Karuizawa Mikasa Park villa district is a well known large villa district in Karuizawa, spanning from Kyu Karuizawa Mikasa Street at its east edge to Tsurudamari at its west edge. It occupies most of the northern slope of Mt. Hanare (Hanareyama), a symbol mountain of Karuizawa. If you follow the latest construction regulation by Karuizawa Town, it is almost impossible to build a house in this north thin part, since it is currently regulated to set back by 5 meters from the road border and 3 meters from the other borders respectively to build a house. So, if you build a house in this lot, plan a location of a main building in south part which has more depth from the road than the north part, and utilize the north part for car parking spaces, garden, and entrance approach path to the house.
