Shin Karuizawa - Narusawa
Narusawa is a residential district located south of Karuizawa station on the JR Hokuriku Shinkansen, and to the west and south of the Prince Shopping Plaza (Outlet), which is always crowded with visiting shoppers.
In contrast to the Kyu Karuizawa area to the north of the railroad tracks, the Narusawa area to the south of the railroad tracks used to be a peaceful rural area with a golf course, hotel and surrounding vegetable fields before the launch of the Nagano Shinkansen (currently Hokuriku Shinkansen). With the launch of the Shinkansen and the outlets, the environment of this area has changed drastically. Today, the area has developed to become a residential and villa area with a nice atmosphere, with elegant villas mixed in with the homes of the old residents. Fact that it is within walking distance to Karuizawa Station and the outlet stores attracts prospective residents.
This property is located in the southern part of Narusawa, near the National Route 18 bypass, in a residential area full of greenery. There is an old house remaining on the property, but it will be sold as-is. Though it is close to the major traffic road, you can hardly hear the sound of cars. Please check this out at the site.
Narusawa district is mostly under the residential district’s construction regulation, with loose building-to-land and floor-area ratio regulations, and relatively short setbacks from roads and neighboring land, making it easy to plan buildings. It is a district where a lot of greenery still remains. In fact, in recent years, the number of places with residential district regulations has been decreasing, so land like this property can be said to be rare.
