The town road Tsurudamari line starts at Karuizawa Town Hall and ends at Hoshino Resort, through Karuizawa Public Hall, Kabutoyama villa district, and Tsurudamari villa district. When traffic on National Route 18 and146 becomes heavy during summer seasons, this road is often used as a bypassing road for cars.

Tsurudamari villa district is one of the largest villa districts in Naka Karuizawa region, spreading along Tsurudamari line.
