Mikasa Park is located at the foot of north slope of Mt. Hanare, Karuizawa's symbol mountain.  It spans across Kyu-Karuizawa at east and Tsurudamari of Naka Karuizawa at west.  It is managed villa park.  Villa owners choose to have their house here because they like to be relaxed in this green, tranquil environment being away from bustle in the town center.  In the park, there are a lot of neatly partitioned land acreage which take advantage of sloping landscape.

You will find this property just after you enter the Tsurudamari entrance of the park.  As the park management office is located near the Kyu-Karuizawa Mikasa entrance, you may think this location is far-end of the park.  Actually, it is the closest if you come from the Karuizawa town hall in Naka Karuizawa.

Near this property, there are a few villas and cottages which look being built in recent years.  Actually, there are some areas in the park where you will see a series of unused, near-decayed villas around.  This property and its neighbors is not like that.
